Susan Lynne Jarosch

Susan Lynne Jarosch passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023, in Steamboat Springs, CO, after a long battle with cancer. She was a passionate follower of Christ and a beloved child of God.
Susie was born on January 6, 1981, in Grand Rapids, MI. She attended high school in Plainwell, MI, before attending Michigan Technological University where she met her husband, Dan. She graduated with honors with a degree in environmental engineering in 2003. She worked as an engineer in the Minneapolis, MN, area until 2009 when she gave birth to her twin daughters. Susie's family moved to Colorado in 2013 to raise their daughters in the beautiful community of Steamboat Springs.
Susie loved skiing, hiking, water sports and being outdoors. She also loved spending time with her husband and activities with her daughters. She was a beautiful, smart, funny, loving and kind soul with an awe-inspiring faith and trust in God. Those who knew her closely loved her sense of humor, kindness and wisdom.
Susie is survived by her husband Dan Miller; twin daughters Leah and Elsie Miller; mother Karen Jarosch; father Tom Jarosch; sisters Lana (Grant) Knisely and Katie (Mitch) Wassink.
The family would like to the thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Mayo Clinic, UCHealth and the Jan Bishop Cancer Center for treatment, care and giving us extra years to enjoy with Susie before her passing. We would also like to thank our family, friends and community for their amazing support during these difficult years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Steamboat Christian Center with a reception to follow.
