Susan was my mentor as I was a new RN at Parkwest 4Riverstone. Her experience was so valuable as we cared for oncology, palliative, medical/surgical, and other patients. We found ways to laugh together and have fun. I´ll never forget one patient was having a psychotic episode and was fighting the two of us while threatening to call the police and have us arrested. Susan said, "If it (jail) was good enough for Paul and Barbarnabas, it´s good enough for me!" Even now, I laugh remembering that moment with her. She will be missed. She was an amazing woman and I loved her very much.
