Susan Lewandowski

Susan Lewandowski, "Susie" passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Jane Lewandowski, born and raised in the Bridesburg neighborhood of Philadelphia. Dear "sister of Sophie and Gary Cochran. Loving and devoted "aunt" to both the Cochran and Lindenman families. Loved godmother to Tammy Lindenman and her husband Dave.

Susie had a great personality, she was always smiling and caring for those loved ones whom she surrounded herself with in her life. She took immense pride in her work as a secretary for Sears. She also assumed the role as caretaker when her mother passed away unexpectedly. Susie was a simple woman. When she had the opportunity, she loved to dance, especially the jitterbug. Susie will be deeply missed by her family and her dear neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather to remember Susie on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 6-8pm at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila., PA 19137. (Parking on premises). Susie will be laid to rest privately with her parents in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in the near future.

In honor and in love of Susie, the family requests that if you plan to attend her visitation, please remember to try and wear pink, as it was Susie's favorite color.
