Susan P. Lutjens

Susan P. Lutjens, 69, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Whitestone Care Center in Stroud Township. She was the wife of Ernest H. Lutjens with whom she share 45 years of marriage.
Born on December 28, 1954 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Arlington and Dorothy (Freedman) Moyer. She grew up in Bangor and has lived in Monroe County for the last 45 years.
Susan worked at the Hilda Blouse Factory in Pen Argyl, Valerie Fashions in Wind Gap, and the Stroudsburg High School cafeteria; and she also sold Time Share for Shawnee and was an in home caregiver.
She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ in Wind Gap.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two children; Steven Lutjens of Indian Land, SC and Celeste Lutjens at home; and six grandchildren, Alyssa Griffin, Breanna Griffin, Cassonda Griffin, Brinley Lutjens, Veyda Lutjens and Elliot Soto.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dewitt Moyer.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd, beginning at 10:00am at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with Rev. Dr. Emily B. Hall officiating.
