Susan Norene Neal, a cherished wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Susan was called home to be with the Lord on October 9th, 2025. Her life was a testament to her faith, her family, and her unwavering spirit.

Born on October 3rd 1961, Oakdale CA, Susan Neal was a daughter of Georgia Swain and James Swain. From an early age, Susan shared a special bond with her father, James Swain, and cherished their close relationship through out her life. On October 6th, 1979 she was married to Richard Neal; they built a life of faith, love, and community. Together they had four children - 3 boys, James (JD), Justin, Jarred, and 1 girl, Barbara. But, Susan took on the responsibility of helping raise most of her grandchildren, and even gaining guardianship of three of her grandchildren, Ricky, Kaylee, and Lexi.

Susan Neal was known for her open testimonials to God, her loyalty for her loved ones, her extreme craftiness, and her love for sour candy. She dedicated her time to sewing, crafting, cooking and baking, playing candy crush, and loving unconditionally. Her home was always open to anyone who needed it, she created a welcoming space for family, friends, and animals.

A memorial of Susan Norene Neal's life will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025, 3pm, at The Healing Place Church, in Hughson, CA.

Susan Norene Neal's legacy of faith, love, and strength will live on through the many lives she touched.
