Susan L. Robson, 74, of West Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at her residence.
Born October 24, 1949 in Kenton, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Dickerson) Robson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Robson and a niece, Andrea Robson.
Susan was a 1967 graduate of Logan Hills High School and attended the Ohio State University. She owned and operated the Main St. restaurant in West Mansfield, later worked at Green Hills in West Liberty and formerly attended the North Greenfield United Methodist Church.
A loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she loved spending time with her family. She loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and was fondly known for being the family historian. An avid sports fan, she enjoyed watching them on TV, especially Ohio State football, she also enjoyed watching Perry Mason and Murder She Wrote.
She is survived by her daughters, Lauri Long and Mikki (Brad) Bates, both of West Mansfield; grandchildren, Morgan Lockwood, Georgia, Rissa and Brock Bates; brothers, William Robson of West Mansfield and Robert (Teresa) Robson of Bellefontaine; her nieces, Brande Harshfield and Kyla Deeter; and a nephew, Derek Robson.
Services to celebrate Susan’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the North Greenfield Global Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the North Greenfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
