Susan Rondini, age 68, of Newbury, Ohio, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2025 surrounded by family and in peace. Born on October 30, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Archie and Roberta (Russell) Woodie.
Though she never finished high school, Susan's wisdom, work ethic, and curiosity were God-given strengths that carried her through a life of hard work and deep devotion to her family. From data entry to bank teller, mortgage underwriter to business owner, Susan approached each job with excellence and perseverance. She gave her best-not for praise or recognition-but to provide for her family and glorify God through her diligence.
She married Sam Rondini in 1977, and together they were blessed with three children: Jill, Russell, and Raymond. Later, she welcomed two more sons, Nicholas and Nathan. Her children were the joy of her life, and she poured her heart into raising them with love, grace, and strength.
Susan was known for her generosity of spirit. Even in her own struggles, she found ways to serve others. She offered quiet gestures like paying for a stranger's meal, reflecting her belief that love should be lived out loud. She shared laughter easily, kept a warm heart, and never turned away someone in need. A longtime fan of softball, she cherished the memory of playing on the same team with her mom, sisters, and daughter, a reminder of the beauty of family. Susan also enjoyed watching her beloved Cleveland Indians on the baseball diamond.
Her hands, whether baking bread or pushing a lawn mower, were always at work with joy and care. And her faith, though not always spoken, was evident in the life she lived: humble, giving, enduring. Susan's sense of humor was quick, and her smile lit up a room. She never took herself too seriously-but she always took love seriously.
To her brother Rocky, she was affectionately known as "Sauce," a nickname full of warmth that captures the special bond they shared.
Susan is survived by her beloved children: Jill Rondini, Russell (Hollie) Rondini, Raymond (Jamie) Rondini, Nicholas Rondini, and Nathan (Lydia Lorince) Prodonovich; her grandchildren: Lily and Silas Rondini, Braylon Bohanon, and Dominic and Matthew Rondini. She also leaves behind her siblings: Rocky (Marilyn) Woodie, Ray (Linda) Woodie, and Cindy Woodie.
She was welcomed into eternity by her parents, Archie and Roberta, and her dear sister Betty. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of Jesus, reunited with loved ones who have gone before, and resting in the joy of Heaven.
We will forever remember Susan's handwriting, her laughter, her sweet tooth (especially cordial cherries, malted milk balls, and chocolate Necco wafers!), and above all, her immeasurable love. She gave us all she had-and now she has everything, in the presence of the Lord.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 11:00am on Thursday, July 3 until the time of funeral services at 1:00pm in the Busch-Romito Funeral Home, 9819 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087. Interment will follow at Munn Cemetery, Newbury Township. 330-425-2244 www.buschcares.com
