Susan Sharrow

Susan B. Sharrow, 79, of Enfield, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. She was born on September 12, 1946, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to the late Horace and Marjorie (St. Germain) Haunton.

Susan grew up in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and later, along with her late husband, Gary Sharrow, raised her family in Enfield, Connecticut. Following Gary's passing, she worked at Fermi High School beginning in 1984 until her retirement in 2012.

Susan enjoyed reading and spending time at the beach and ocean, especially Seabrook Beach in New Hampshire, where she vacationed as a child. She took great pride in her family and deeply cherished her role as a mother and, most especially, as a grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Sharrow and Tiffany Sharrow, both of Enfield, Connecticut; her brother, Charles "Jeff" Haunton, and his wife, Gladys, of Omaha, Nebraska; and her beloved granddaughter, Emma Sharrow-Moses, lovingly known as "Lovebug."

She was predeceased by her husband, Gary Sharrow, and her son, Michael Sharrow.
