I am saddened to have been notified with such news. Sue was a wonderful part of my life during my 20's when I worked with her at Mission Jewelers at North Star Mall. I will always remember her for her energy and laughter! What fun we had!

What a gift your mother was! She overflowed with life, vitality and love for her family. She left a memorable impression on those of us fortunate enough to have met her. I wish I had known her better. But I am confident that in knowing you, I knew Sue.

I am so saddened that my "other mother" whom I first met in 1979 has passed on. She was a beautiful lady, full of vitality and vigor. And she always had a smile on her face when I saw her. I will miss her dearly but will always cherish the wonderful memories we shared and the many laughs we had together. Her spirit will live on in her children and grandchildren. I grieve deeply with Ken, Albert and Alice and know that I send all my love and sympathy to you all.

So sorry to learn of Mrs. Slavin's passing... while I was not fortunate to know her in this lifetime, I know she loved and adored her children and grandchildren, and I know the very best of her lives on in each of them. May they find comfort in happy memories and peace in the certainty that earthly farewells need never be final goodbyes for them that believe in the Life Everlasting.
