Susan Smith Obituary

Born and raised in Kearny, Susan was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie McHugh. She moved to Pequannock to raise her family and enjoyed traveling with them, especially to Disney. The greatest joy in Susan's life was her family, especially her cherished granddaughter, Lily.
Susan is lovingly survived by her children, Stacy Ahlquist and her husband Chris, and Ryan Smith; her granddaughter, Lily Ahlquist; and her brothers, Bob McHugh and Eddie McHugh and his wife Betty. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister-in-law, Jane McHugh. She also leaves behind her loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, November 24 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Scanlan's. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday at Scanlan's. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
