Susan M. Snelson, 74, of Hamilton Twp., NJ passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Born in Trenton, raised in the Chambersburg section, Susan was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton Twp. area resident. She made her home at Barclay Village Apartments, where she proudly served as the community manager for more than 20 years. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandson, DJ, who brought her endless joy.
Susan was a very religious person, and had a deep love for country music, especially Alan Jackson. She enjoyed other music too, such as the Beatles, the Doors, the Eagles, Creedence Clear Water Revival and Aerosmith, to name a few. She loved country line dancing, attending concerts, and going to Trenton Thunder. She was a big fan of the NY Yankees, 49ers, and Miami Dolphins. She supported her family in all their endeavors and especially loved seeing her grandson, great nieces and great nephews playing baseball, in school talent shows, in school musicals and in shows at Kelsey Theatre.
As a proud American, Susan loved her country. She enjoyed keeping up with the news, following politics, and watching live court cases on TV. She deeply loved her family and was inseparable from her sisters, who were together daily, watching Family Feud, Lifetime movies and Hallmark Christmas movies.
Susan respected and cared for people and our country greatly. She talked bad about no one and was the first to stand up to defend someone if she felt they were being disrespected. She had a very giving heart, went out of her way to help others, and treated friends like family.
Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend and will be remembered for her deep love, profound caring, and devotion to her family.
Predeceased by her parents, Ottis L. and Jean A. (DiMarcello) Snelson; her husband,
