Susan Stadler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Valley Funeral Home - Appleton on Feb. 9, 2026.
Susan Stadler, 76, Appleton, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 6, 2026, of natural causes. She was born on August 27, 1949.

Susan lived a happy life, deeply rooted in her family and faith. She was often the extended family historian, lovingly preserving stories, memories, and connections that kept generations close. Her strong faith guided her life, and she was an avid volunteer at St. Pius X Catholic Church, a community she dearly loved. Susan also dedicated many years of service volunteering at St. Elizabeth Hospital, where her kindness and generosity touched countless lives.

Susan was employed by several local businesses throughout her career and concluded her working years at Kimberly-Clark.

She is survived by her brother, Dennis (Kathy) Stadler; a sister-in-law, Mary Stadler; nieces: Tricia (Dustin) Halyburton and Anne Stadler; a great niece and nephew, Riley and Caden Halyburton; along with other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Mary (Jochman) Stadler and a brother, Tom Stadler.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton, with Fr. Jim Jugenheimer officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fox Valley Humane Association would be appreciated.

Susan's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time.

I have known Susan from grade school on. We were in girl scouts together and shared many memories. She always spoke her mind and never held back. I liked that about her. She will be missed. My condolences to the family.
