Susan Loretta Thums, 74, of Rib Lake, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Rib Lake Health Services while under the care of North Shore Hospice.

She was born September 8, 1951 in Marshfield to Alvin and Dorothy (Zander) Miller. She grew up in Loyal and graduated from Loyal High School.

On June 18, 2011, Susan married Gregory Thums. They resided in Rib Lake. Susan had worked as a house cleaner and as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years.

Susan was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Legion Auxiliary, and Historic St. Ann's. She enjoyed card playing, sewing, listening to polka music, fishing, being in the woods, picking berries, and spending time with her husband and siblings.

She is survived by her husband Greg of Rib Lake; siblings, Linda Ehlers of Greenwood, Donald (Judy) Miller of Mayville, Mary Ann Clemens of Waukesha; sister-in-law, Caroline Miller of Loyal; brothers-in-law, Raymond (Shirley) Thums of Wausau, Roland "Rollie" (Susan J.) Thums of Rib Lake; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond Miller and James Miller; sister-in-law, Mary Miller; and brothers-in-law, William Ehlers and James Clemens.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake. The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the church, with visitation following until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Burial will be at a later date at Historic St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery.
