Susan was my teaching colleague and good friend for many years. She was a warm and welcoming host at her and Howard's charming Hampton Bays home, where we enjoyed walks on the beach, shopping in town and delicious lobster dinners. I will always remember the good times we shared: birthday and anniversary celebrations, our children's weddings, musical and dance concerts. My deepest sympathy to Howard, Robin, Douglas and all your family.

Dear Howard, Robin and Douglas,
We are very sorry for your loss. Susan was always a sweetheart to us, warm, gentle, humorous. I sent greetings to her and Howard a few months ago but didn't hear back. I thought they must be busy. We are very sad at her passing, and wish you all to always remember the beautiful things about her.

We are so saddened to hear about Susan´s death, and send Howard, Robin and Douglas. And your entire family our deepest condolences.
Her greatest joy in life was her "delicious" grandchildren.
I remember her riding to my mother´s house on a bicycle with Douglas oin a baby basket.
She was always interested in everyone, and everything, with enthusing, love and fun. She had a truly different take on life.
She will be remembered, and missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
