Susie came to Charlotte from Leasburg NC to Kings Business college in 1957. She worked as a secretary in Charlotte. She met Grady Williams in Charlotte and they were married in 1959. Once her daughter Christy was born she was a full time stay at home mom!! Susie enjoyed being a member of the Charlotte gem and mineral club. She loved fishing and hunting and wander the woods in search of “treasures”.
She is preceded in death by her parents Reuben and Irene Knight and Her husband Grady to whom she was married for 60 yrs. She hesitantly leaves behind(cause she didn’t want to go!) her daughter Christy, Leighann Parker , her beloved sister Mable Dixon of Roxboro NC and her sweet cherished kitty Boo.
The Graveside Service for Susie Williams will be held Saturday December 27th, 2025, 11:00am at Sunset Memory Gardens 8901 Lawyers Road Mint Hill NC 28227.
In Lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of Union and Anson Counties, and the Grand Canyon Conservancy at Www.grandcanyon.org.
