Susan E. Winrow was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and colleague. On Christmas Day, December 25, 1961, Susan Elaine Simmons Winrow was born to her parents Joe L. Simmons and Gloria J. Simmons in San Antonio, Texas. Susan later would realize her passion for children when she began working in the Harlandale Independent School District from 1999-2022. Over the course of Susan's career as a special education teacher and Admissions, Review and Dismissal (ARD) facilitator. Susan Winrow was united in holy matrimony to Charles W. Winrow, Sr. on March 15, 2005. During their 18 years of marriage, they raised and cared for a blended family of five children collectively.
Services:
Viewing will be held at Lewis Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 10:30 A.M.-11:30 A.M. with funeral service starting at 11:30 A.M. Interment will be follow at 1:30 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, 78209.
