Susana Santos Farfán, nacida el 26 de diciembre de 1929 en Bogotá, Colombia, falleció pacíficamente el 30 de abril de 2024 en
Tampa, Florida. Era la amada hija de Alipio Farfán Rubiano y María Ignacia Guerra.
Susana era una madre amorosa y una costurera talentosa cuyo trabajo era admirado por muchos. Su creatividad y habilidad quedaron patentes en las muestras que realizó para grandes empresas, quienes produjeron masivamente su obra.
Además de una exitosa carrera, Susana tenía una personalidad vibrante y alegre. Era conocida por su amor por la cocina y por unir a la gente. Su pasión por reunirse con familiares y amigos era inquebrantable, y le encantaba enseñar a sus hijos a jugar trompo, hacer y volar cometas y participar en juegos de jacks y yo-yo.
Susana, una mujer a la moda, siempre se enorgullecía de su apariencia, asegurándose de que su lápiz labial y sus cejas estuvieran impecables. Era muy ocurente y contaba chistes e historias que entretenían a todos los que la conocían. Nadie pudo evadir una de sus inteligentes respuestas.
A Susana le precedieron en la muerte su amada hija, Miriam, y su hijo, Ricardo. Le sobreviven su hermano mayor, Isaías, y su esposa, Marinita, así como sus hijos Héctor (Claudia), Aurora (Chepe), Piedad, Eduardo (Marta), Aurelio (Darcy) y Diana. También deja atrás a sus hijos extra, Carlitos y Darío (Lily), así como a 12 nietos y 7 (que pronto serán 8) bisnietos.
Su legado se extiende a numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas y amigos, todos los cuales quedaron conmovidos por su amabilidad y calidez. El amor y la dedicación de Susana hacia su familia fueron incomparables y su memoria vivirá para siempre en los corazones de aquellos a quienes deja atrás.

Susana Santos Farfan, born on December 26, 1929, in Bogota, Colombia, peacefully passed away on April 30, 2024, in
Tampa, Florida. She was the beloved daughter of Alipio Farfan Rubiano and Maria Ignacia Guerra.
Susana was a loving mother and a talented seamstress whose work was admired by many. Her creativity and skill were evident in the samples she made for large companies, who mass-produced her work.
In addition to her successful career, Susana had a vibrant and joyful personality. She was known for her love of cooking and bringing people together. Her passion for reuniting with family and friends was unwavering, and she found joy in teaching children how to play trompo, make and fly kites, and engage in games of jacks and yo-yo.
A fashionable woman, Susana always took pride in her appearance, ensuring her lipstick and eyebrows were impeccable. She had a quick wit, telling jokes and stories that entertained all who knew her. No one could evade one of her clever responses or quick comebacks.
Susana was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Miriam, and son, Ricardo. She is survived by her big brother, Isaias, and his wife, Marina, as well as her children Hector (Claudia), Aurora (Chepe), Piedad, Eduardo (Marta), Aurelio (Darcy), and Diana. She also leaves behind her bonus sons, Carlitos and Dario (Lily), as well as 12 grandchildren and 7 (soon to be 8) great-grandchildren.
Her legacy extends to numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and warmth. Susana's love and dedication to her family were unparalleled, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
In a special message, the family expresses their gratitude to Aurora (Comadre) for her exceptional care of their mother and for the love and fun she brought into her life.
