We honor and share the passing of our beloved Sushila Patel who departed peacefully on December 1, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. While her departure leaves a quiet space, her warmth, laughter, and unforgettable quirks continue to brighten the lives she touched.
Sushila lived with a joyful, down-to-earth spirit, always ready with a smile that could brighten any room. Of all her simple pleasures, nothing brought her as much delight as a perfectly ripe banana. Whether she was starting her morning, sharing a snack, or insisting that bananas were the cure for almost anything, her love for them became one of her most endearing trademarks and a source of many family laughs.
She filled her days with love, laughter, and gossip. She cared for her family, loved attending Golden Era Senior Center, prayed and devoted her time to God while sharing her wisdom in the gentle, thoughtful way only she could. Her stories, recipes, and life lessons will continue to be passed down, retold, and cherished. Sushila was predeceased by her beloved husband Bhanubhai Patel. She is survived by her three children, Kamlesh Patel (Anju Patel), Sunil Patel (Jaymini Patel), and Bharti Patel (Mukesh Patel). Her beloved grandchildren, Milan Patel (Isha Patel), Shivangi Jasani (Anand Jasani), Risita Patel, Bhumit Patel (Zeenal Patel), Kintan Patel, Bhavi Patel (Mansi Patel), and Puja Patel (Nikesh Patel). She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Alina, Mia, Anaya, Ayden, Ari, Niam, and Sarina who will miss her loving hugs.
A service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, December 6th at Franklin Memorial Park. The family welcomes all and kindly asks guests to wear light, uplifting colors. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave lives on; and we are all better for having been part of her life.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly welcome your blessings.
