Many years ago I wrote to Suzanne when she did the movie little women for television she wrote back to me and we became pen pals to ever so many years in one of her letters. Which I still have she said all the years we have written we have never met.She always took time from her busy schedule to answer my letters. I always wondered why. One day about four or five years ago my friend and I was in yellow springs she asked me if I wanted to stop and see Suzanne and I said no but my friend talked me into it and Suzanne was a lovely person as she was in her letters. I said to her we finally meet that was the only time I saw her. My condolences to her niece.

I am so sorry to hear about Suzanne's passing she was a wonderful person even realing I had only been graced with her presece a few times. She was an amazing example of brilliance, determination and kindness. I promised myself I would go visit her a million times, I'm so sorry that I missed out not having taken the time to see her. The house she swears was built for her will always have special meaning for me and I'll cherish it even more when I look around and think of her. Thank you Suzanne for having been in my life. RIP!
