I was lucky to have Sue as a mentor in my first job as a Registered Dietitian at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in 1976; She was always warm, friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. Later she helped coach me with breastfeeding by telephone--5 minutes with her taught me more than 5 other nurses could explain. When I later learned of her nursing experience and time in Viet Nam, it all made sense. We lost touch over the years and I'm sorry to learn of her death belatedly.
