Suzanne (Suzie) Jane Pesce, 85, of Portland passed away peacefully February 17th, 2026 after a long illness. She was born June 1st, 1940 in Portland, ME the daughter of Joseph Pesce and Violet Dagnes Pesce.
Suzanne graduated from Portland High School in 1958 and first worked for New England Telephone as a telephone operator. Later she was a department manager for King’s Department Store for 20 years. Suzanne enjoyed old movies, visiting casinos, painting, and had a great love for art.
Suzanne was predeceased by her parents, her loving partner of over 40 years Roland Pelletier, sister Anne Pesce (McMennamin), and brothers Richard Pesce and Michael Pesce. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Barron Center, Compassus Hospice, and the staff at Deering Pavillion for their care and support.
At Suzanne’s request there will be no formal services. A private interment will be held at a later date.
