Born August 16, 1948, St. Joseph's Hospital - Died March 29, 2026 Arnot Ogden Medical Center

Suzanne was predeceased by her parents William S. Whitford, Sr. and Elizabeth Orme Whitford; stepfather Albert "Ronnie" Bailey; sister Robyn Bailey; brother-in-law William Patrick Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law Kelley Bailey and AnneLouise Anderson Whitford.

She is survived by her daughters Johna Evenden (Shawn) of Big Flats, NY and Denise Runeare (David) of Fulton, NY. She leaves 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She also leaves brothers William S. Whitford, Jr. (Margaret), Dennis Whitford (Carmela) Francis Whitford (Amber Dickerson, chicken coop cleaner), Kevin Bailey (Claudia) and Brian Bailey, and many other nieces and nephews. She also leaves good friends Harley Riley, Jessica Wetmore, special companion Mary Blanchard and comfort dog Callee.

Suzanne was a student at Sts. Peter & Paul School, Beecher School and Elmiora Free Academy, class of 1967. She was a member of El-Ne-Ho- Club at the Elmira Neighborhood House and a counselor at Camp El-Ne-Ho. She held many jobs, including working at Horseheads High School with special needs students, Parking Enforcement Aid for Elmira, and ran 2 dairy farms. She enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, gardening, making maple syrup, canning her own produce, baking bread and raising chickens. Her "cowboy baked beans" were everyone's favorite.

She donated her body to the Unoversity of Rochester School of Medicine for medical research and organ donation.

A funeral will be held at a later date.
