Suzette Brown went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 30, 2023.
She was born on May 18, 1971 to Dale (Sherry) Smith and the late Joyce Smith. She was also cared for by mother-figure Rita Creed. Suzette was a long time and active member of Calvary Hill Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Larry Brown, three brothers, Todd Smith, Jay King, and Greg Smith, and her grandparents, Silas and Maggie Smith and Johnny and Elsie King.
Suzette leaves behind two daughters, Lauren (Chase) McKinney and Samantha (Michael) Hoffman, two grandchildren, Aleah McKinney and Carson Hoffman, four sisters, Tracy (Gray) Brummit, Christie Dixon, Chastity Smith, and Megan Smith, and brother-in-law Gary (Kim) Brown.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 3 pm at Calvary Hill Church followed by a graveside service at Walnut Cove Cemetery, with Pastor John Van Veen officiating.
The family will receive guests from 1-3 pm on Wednesday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Samaritan's Purse Ministries.
