Suzi Lesh was born on December 13, 1976, in Savannah, Georgia, to Ronald and Teresa Lesh. She passed away on January 27, 2026, in Nixa, Missouri.
Suzi was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Through both good times and hard times, she remained loving, joyful, and full of life. She was an extrovert who had fun wherever she went and was truly loved by all who crossed her path. She was beautiful inside and out—beautiful deep down to her soul—and there was always a sparkle in her eye when she talked about something she loved. One of her greatest gifts was making other people smile, something she did effortlessly and often.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends, loved Zumba, and was a proud member of the Zumba Nixa group. Music was a big part of her life, and she especially enjoyed hosting karaoke nights at her home, where laughter, friendship, and joy filled the room.
Suzi was a cosmetologist for many years and graduated from Paul Mitchell School of Hair Design in Springfield, Missouri. She worked from home as well as at VIP Hair Salon in Nixa, Missouri, where she cared deeply for her clients and formed meaningful connections with everyone who sat in her chair.
Her greatest joy was her family. Her children proudly called her the best mom, and she was a loving and devoted grandmother to her granddaughter, Adalynn. Suzi also loved traveling to Florida and spending time at the beach, a place that always held her heart and brought her peace.
Suzi is survived by her fiancé, Mike Martinez, who proposed to her in Las Vegas on February 4, 2025; her children, Devyn Bess, Gavin Blankenship, Savannah Bess, and Chris Spiljak; and her granddaughter, Adalynn Bess.
Suzi will be remembered for her kind heart, her joyful spirit, her beauty inside and out, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
