SYBLE K. BROWN age 94 of Crossville, TN passed away on Sunday November 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 22, 1931 in Crossville, TN the daughter of Oscar and Cora Bell Burgess Kerley. Syble retired after more than 30 years as an administrative secretary with the "original" First National Bank where she helped serve many people in our county. She was a devoted Christian and a member of New Hope Baptist. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who loved her family with all her heart.

She is survived by her daughter – Lori Bell of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Jonathan Miller and his wife Shonda, Christy Miller, Zackery Miller and his wife Corey and Dennis Bell II, great grandchildren- J.J. Miller and his wife Kelsey, Payton Miller, Wesley Miller and his wife McKinzey, Abbigail Burgess and her husband C.J. and Maggie Miller, great great grandchildren- Amelia Miller, Jack Miller, Hayes Miller and Emmie Miller, brother- Bennie Kerley and his wife Sarah of Oak Ridge and sisters- Velma Daughtery, Anna Ruth Kerley and Bonnie Kerley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Brown, son- Jeffery Brown, brothers- Vaughn Kerley, Harold Kerley, Gary Kerley and Oliver Kerley, sister- Christine Kerley and son-in-law- Dennis Bell.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 5, 2025 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

My sincerest condolences to Syble's family. I remember her from years ago when she played piano at different churches for the singing services that my daddy took me to. So glad I got to see and speak to her again this past summer and see that big beautiful smile she always had. Such a sweet lady.
