Sylvain man your a cool dude sorry it took me so long to tell you man but rest in peace brother and God be with you. You are a solid rhythm guitarist a you could do a mean lead as well, but more than anything you are an alright dude. Now all the dolls can jam together again. Rip david, jonny, syl, killer kane, billy and jerry nolan. Rest in peace syl, from J R steal, queens NYC by good old Newtown highschool.

He was a true pioneer of glam punk rock and was tremendously talented. I remember seeing him live in New York city, he was one of the best performers I've ever seen. His legacy and impact lives on in the musicians he influenced. He truly was groundbreaking.

He was my favorite guitarist of all time, I loved listening to the New York Dolls. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was such an innovator and really changed the punk rock scene. Him and his talent will be greatly missed, I send my condolences to the Mizrahi family .

I knew Sylvain in the early days of CBGBs in the mid-1970s, when I was with the group Mink DeVille. I remember him as an upbeat guy with a great sense of humor. I am sorry to hear of his passing. RIP.
