We had the honor of meeting and spending time with Sylvia when she and her family visited Terri and Cliff either at their home in Asheville or traveled to Florida on vacation in Daytona Beach. I felt her love and appreciation for her family immediately. She was very proud of her family and liked to cook. We will miss her and sad we didn´t get to know her long but we know she is with God and in peace.
With sincere sympathy for the family,
Silvia and Bill Dodson

I have many happy memories of Sylvia from my childhood. We lived next door to her and Junior at Colmar when I was a child. My sister and she cooked together and it was a happy time in the kitchen when they did. We had many delicious suppers and fun picnics. I was in Sylvia's class when I was in the 5th grade at Colmar. I remember Sylvia's warm smiling eyes, her kindnesses to me and her infectious enthusiasm. I very much enjoyed playing croquet with her at Gracie's and Papa Arnett's house on those beautiful summer days after Sunday dinners. My sympathy for all of Sylvia's family and especially Karen, Sherry and Kenny for all you all have suffered these past years... I am very familiar with the heartbreak that you all have lived through. Love to you all... Shirlene
