Sylvia Marie Avalos

Sylvia Marie Avalos, 64, of Franklin, TN, passed away November 5, 2025.

Graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1980, Graduated from IBC with a degree in business administration. She moved to Oklahoma in 1987 and lived there for 9 years. She then moved to Tennessee with Steven Yake Productions. From there she went to work for Lexus Cool Springs. Then went with Acadia where she worked till her passing. She loved spending time with Rafael laughing and cooking for him. Her hobby was cooking and entertaining friends and loved ones. Cinco de mayo party started with 3 friends and became huge success with all her friends. Enjoyed get togethers withs ex coworkers, friends for dinner and drinks.

Sylvia was a very loving and caring daughter and sister. Always willing to help anyone in need. She found comfort in verses such as 2 Timothy 4:7 – "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." She now rests in the arms of the Savior, rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty

Sylvia is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Robert A Avalos and Amelia A. Avalos and sisters, Christine J Salas and Catherine J Bertoldo.

She is survived by her partner, Rafael Henandez; sister, Patricia (Bobby) A Bertoldo; brother Robert J (Catheryn) Avalos; brother, Vincent (Jenny) Delao; 12 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 pm Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Lexus of Cool Springs.

Se graduó de Las Cruces High School en 1980 y obtuvo su título en Administración de Empresas en IBC. En 1987 se mudó a Oklahoma, donde vivió durante nueve años. Posteriormente se trasladó a Tennessee para trabajar con Steven Yake Productions. Más tarde trabajó en Lexus Cool Springs, y después en Acadia, donde permaneció hasta su fallecimiento.

A Sylvia le encantaba pasar tiempo con Rafael, reír juntos y cocinar para él. Su pasatiempo favorito era cocinar y convivir con amigos y seres queridos. La fiesta del Cinco de Mayo, que comenzó con solo tres amigos, se convirtió en un gran éxito entre todos sus conocidos. También disfrutaba reunirse con excompañeros de trabajo y amigos para cenar y tomar algo.

Sylvia fue una hija y hermana muy amorosa y atenta, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Encontraba consuelo en versículos como 2 Timoteo 4:7: "He peleado la buena batalla, he terminado la carrera, he guardado la fe." Ahora descansa en los brazos del Salvador, gozando en la presencia del Todopoderoso.

Sylvia se ha reunido en el cielo con sus padres, Robert A. Avalos y Amelia A. Avalos, y sus hermanas, Christine J. Salas y Catherine J. Bertoldo.

Le sobreviven su pareja, Rafael Hernández; su hermana, Patricia (Bobby) A. Bertoldo; sus hermanos, Robert J. (Catheryn) Avalos y Vincent (Jenny) Delao; además de 12 sobrinos y sobrinas, y 14 sobrinos nietos y sobrinas nietas.
