Sylvia R. Benavides went to be with Lord on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the age of 56 born in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward G. Benavides; sister Lydia Ruiz Hernandez and father, Martin H. Ruiz, Jr. She is survived by her children Allen R. Ojeda Jr., Shannon M. Ojeda, Angel M. Ojeda; mother Petra A. Ruiz, along with 8 grandchildren, 5 sisters and 4 brothers.Sylvia had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless number of friends. She was an election judge for Bexar County Elections, also a member of the womenÂ's auxiliary for VFW Post 76. Sylvia will be greatly missed but know she lives in our hearts. MEMORIAL ROSARY AND MASS THURSDAY MARCH 3, 2011 9:30 A.M. OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH 1214 STONEWALL Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
