Sylvia A. Cruz, a beacon of love and generosity, left this world on August 1, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on November 2, 1948, in Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico. Sylvia exemplified unselfishness and kindness throughout her life, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Sylvia is remembered for her giving nature and her unwavering support for those around her. Her loved ones often spoke of her selflessness, noting that she was a truly remarkable person who made a profound impact on the lives of many. Sylvia's loving spirit shone brightly in every interaction she had, and her ability to nurture relationships created a warm and welcoming environment for all.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Hector Cruz, alongside their beloved daughter, Michelle Cruz. The cherished memories of Sylvia will forever be held dear by her grandchildren: Celeste Cruz, Michael Cruz, Christian Castillo, Julian Castillo, Adrian Castillo and Bella Carranza. They will carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.
Additionally, Sylvia is survived by her brother, Abelardo Arrieta, who shared countless moments with her that will be treasured for all time. Her family and friends will continue to honor her memory, cherishing the lessons she imparted through her selfless actions and caring demeanor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Amparo Arrieta, daughters, Marcella Carranza and Raquel Cruz.
Sylvia A. Cruz's love for others was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. While she has departed from this earth, the values she embodied will remain alive in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire acts of kindness and compassion in the lives of her family and friends.
