Sylvia Jean Easley, age 58, of Camden, TN passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Sylvia was born on April 9, 1965 in Camden, TN to the late Marie Easley Simon. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sabrina Montez Simon; grandparents, Autherian “Johnny” Easley & Helen Boyd Easley; aunt, Lou Ella Easley; uncles, Samuel Easley & Thelma Easley; great-nephew, Anthony Samples. Sylvia grew up in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and later attended New Beginning Church of God. Her childhood was spent growing up in Hollow Rock, TN & Camden, TN. She graduated from Camden Central High School in 1983, then moved to Nashville few years after H.S. before returning to Camden where she raised her children. Sylvia became a CNA and worked full-time while attending Jackson State Community College where she attained her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduating Sum Cum Laude. She provided 23 years of genuine & dedicated therapy to the surrounding communities.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00-12:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Larry Jackson officiating.
