Sylvia Kaster

Sylvia Ranen Kaster, of South Jersey was born on February 7,1927, and died on Nov 25, 2025 at the age of 98.

Born in Lynn , MA to Abraham Ranen and Elizabeth Eigner (Henry Gordon). Beloved wife of the late Herbert for over 68 years. Devoted mother of Arlyn , Deborah , the late Leslie Rosenberg, and mother-in-law of Larry Rosenberg. Adoring grandmother of Sara and Mark Lewis and Mark Rosenberg. Great grandmother of Dylan, Sloane, Skylar, and Austin. Sister of the late Carl Ranen, sister-in-law of Faye Ranen, brother Jerome Gordon, and sister Beverly Gordon, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

A force to be reckoned with… a true Boston girl who never gave up her Bostonian accent . She lived a simple life and was always devoted to her family . She set the standard for living life without complications. A long time resident of Cherry Hill, NJ , she spent her last few years enjoying living independently at Brightview Senior Living where she made many new friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
