SYLVIA SEATS Obituary
On December 29, 2024, Sylvia Graham-Seats departed this life at the age of 69. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, James and Catherine Graham, her siblings Charles Lee Graham, Larry Graham, and Anthony Graham, and her great-grandson, Camden Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children: one daughter, Michelle Seats; and two sons, Eric and Jeffrey Seats. She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Marion Elzina McDaniel, Dorothy Roustic, Willard Lee Graham, Marshall Gilbert Graham, Shelia Maxine Woodson, David Graham, and Faye Catherine Graham.
Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Dai'Chelle (Cameron), Deonna, Randi, Erin (Jestin), Eri, Eric, Jeffrey, Shantel, India, Totiana, Brookelynn, Devon, Xxyah, Xxyair, Bre, and Javeaha; and her treasured great-grandchildren: Khloe, Demi, Brielle, Brayden, Essence, Skye, and Teagan. In addition, she leaves behind nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Sylvia was born on April 10, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the third youngest of eleven children. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1973. Sylvia was married to Leroy Seats, Jr. for 13 years, during which time they raised three children: Michelle, Eric, and Jeffrey Seats. She was also briefly married to Willie Connor in Los Angeles, California.
From a young age, Sylvia demonstrated a passion for community and service. She was a proud member of the Brownies Girl Scouts and later actively participated at Grace Apostolic Church, where she sang in the Bishop's Choir and served as a junior usher.
Sylvia wore many hats throughout her life. She began her professional journey as an insurance claims consultant and went on to explore a variety of roles, always with ambition and grace. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to become a Star Consultant with Paparazzi Jewelry, the
owner of Grandeur Crystal online store, and the founder of Something Sophisticated LLC. She was also the author of "I've Got to Tell It," a book that reflected her passions and life experiences.
Sylvia's creativity knew no bounds. She found joy in interior design, flower arranging, painting, playing the piano, and completing puzzles. Above all, Sylvia treasured her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with loved ones, celebrating milestones, and creating lasting memories.
Sylvia's love, creativity, and unwavering faith have left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

I've always looked up to my aunt/sister being so close in age growing up together in a house full of love. She was the sweetest and nicest young mother. I always enjoyed spending time with her and her children. I remember when she fell in love with Leroy one of my favorite uncles, it was like a Cinderella story. She was not a fan of thunder storms, one day at her house a thunderstorm broke out and off to the closest we went lol not sure if you remembered that Michelle...love you all
