Sylvia Silva Obituary
Age 76 of Detroit, formerly of Ecorse.
Dearest companion of Wilfredo Mesa (for 35 years). Loving mother of Yvonne Alvarado, Yvette Alvarado, Filiberto Alvarado, Jr., and Nora Rodriguez. Dearest sister of Claudine Cabello, Rosa Cisneros, and Nora Hernandez. Cherished "Nana" of Antonio Gillum, Carlos Zepeda, Eliana Alvarado, and Giorgio Alvarado. Great-grandmother of Antonio Gillum Jr., Zaydin Gillum, Adelina Zepeda, Enrique Zepeda, and Carlitos Zepeda.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Maria Silva; grandson Ricky Zepeda, Jr; and siblings Oscar Silva, Jr., and Esther Aguirre.
Sylvia will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Sylvia's memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
VISITATION
Friday, June 20, 2025 2-9 pm
at Heritage Funeral Home, 15748 Fort St., Southgate, MI.
INSTATE • 9 am SERVICE • 10 am
PRECESSION • 11 am
Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Woodmere Cemetery.
