Remembering an icon who left a void in Southern California. When you went to Madam Wu's you knew it was going to be a special experience. On one occasion my elderly parents hosted a surprise
party and they were thrilled to meet and take a photograph with Madam Wu. She was a lovely and gracious hostess and will always be regarded as part of Hollywood history. In her honor, I made Madam Wu's beef tonight and it was delicious.

To the family, many, many friends and colleagues of this nice woman Ms. Sylvia Wu fine comfort with you during this difficult time in your lives. There is no greater pain there could be than losing someone you love, especially when it is unexpected. Ms. Sylvia Wu was the owner of the legendary restaurant Madame Wu’s Garden in Santa Monica, California, a popular destination for Hollywood stars. We will miss Ms. Sylvia Wu's presence and her many contributions to her community as a businesswoman. May the love and the special memory you shared and cherish with her show just how much your life was touched by her. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together with Ms. Sylvia Wu. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Ms. Sylvia Wu. She will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.

A part of Hollywood, she was an unforgettable person and she will be missed. May God be with the Wu family and friends at this very difficult time.

Our family frequently dined at Madame Wu's Garden, for many years. The food and overall dining experience was nonpareil, and Madame Wu was a wonderful and most gracious host. Legendary restaurant, presented by an unforgettable lady who exemplified great nobility.
