Dear Sylenthia, You don't know me, but Dr. Galloway shared your sorrow with me. I have been praying that the Lord will be your strength and your shield. It's a hard thing to lose one's mother, even to heaven. I know that you will need God's strength during this difficult time, and I want to assure you from personal experience, that He will be closer than a brother and able to shower all the grace, comfort, and wisdom that you need on you. Trust Him; He will never leave you or fail you.
Sincerely,
Karen Rowe

Sylenthia, please know that you have the Galloways' prayers as you celebrate your dear mother at the same time you mourn your temporary separation from her. I remember so well your first arrival on the campus of BJU when I met you, your sweet mother, and your aunt--helping them to know where to go and escorting you all to the DFH. So long ago, but such a sweet memory for me. I love you, dear one, and I'm praying for you and all your family. Love, Dr. Galloway Psalm 42:8

Sylenthia and family, I sorrow with and for you, but not without HOPE. May God give you comfort and guide your steps during these sad and difficult days. His everlasting arms are under you.
