HANSKA–Tabitha Leigh Trescott, born December 26, 1992, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on November 2, 2025, in Hanska, Minnesota. She was 32 years old.
Tabitha was a bright, joyful soul who filled every room with laughter. She loved to dance, sing, and bring levity into even the darkest moments. With her quick wit and warm sarcasm, she had a gift for lifting the spirits of everyone around her. Her ability to find joy in the toughest of times–and to share that joy with others–was one of her most beautiful qualities.
Tabitha cherished her family above all else. She leaves behind her two young sons, Terrence and Charles, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her mother, Terri; her brother, Tyler, and wife, Nicole; her sister, Faith, and husband, David; and her beloved nephew and nieces–Maddox, Toni, and Alina. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Arlene Armstrong, whose memory she carried with her.
She loved music, treasured her friendships, and held tightly to her faith. Tabitha believed deeply in God’s unconditional love, a source of strength and comfort that guided her throughout her life.
Though her passing brings immense heartbreak, her family chooses to celebrate the joy, love, and light she shared so freely. A celebration of Tabitha’s life was held on November 29, 2025, at Bethel Church in Madelia, Minnesota, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. All who loved her were welcome to attend.
Tabitha will be remembered for her laughter, her resilience, and the way she made others feel seen, comforted, and loved. Her spirit remains forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
