She is survived by her loving husband, Edwin Teruya; sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Miyako Nishimoto, Ron and Michele Nishimoto, and Don and Jane Nishimoto; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; younger sister, Tomoko Oshima. She was predeceased by her first husband, Masayoshi Nishimoto.
