To Lisa- Words cannot express my shock, sympathy and sorrow. When Tammy first told me, I was stunned and took for granted that there would be time, hope and a forthcoming treatment that would WORK.
Everything seemed to happen so quick, from a long-distance friends understanding.
Tammy was ALWAYS there when I needed a friend to vent to. From the loss of a longtime job, to laughing over a show we both loved.
Your sister was many things to many people, but so often she talked about you. Her sister. She loved you, as I'm sure you know and I always knew she loved knowing you were THERE. Her family. Her closest confidant.
I'm so sorry for your loss Lisa. I truly am just stunned and aching. We haven't spoken much, but I think you know me as her "Florida" friend.
PLEASE-- I'd love to stay in touch with you. I'd like to selfishly keep a part of Tammy close.
Her friend in Florida,
Dana
