They had just moved to the Ward and took the back bench at church. We sat in front of them and from then on we always sat in the same benches, visited each Sunday. Stan brought smarties for the kids. He gave one to there daughter and she gave him a hug. That is their special thing now. Visited in their home a time or two and just kept in touch via text some, but mostly weekly at church.
