Tamera Renee Lawson

Tamera Renee Lawson, age 39, departed this life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. She was born on May 23, 1985. She was a graduate of Scott High School Class of 2004. Tamera graduated from Tennessee Tech with both her Bachelors and Masters in Educational Psychology. She worked at Roane State Community College as a Success Coach and established special bond with every student that entered the doors. Tamera enjoyed gardening, and traveling. She was saved and loved her Lord and Savior. Tamera was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her Mother: Sharon K. Carson; Grandparents: Theron and Elma Louise Phillips, Bailey Carson and Anna Brooks Carson, Father-in-law James C. Lawson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years: Justin Lawson; Daughter: Briella Kay Lawson; Father: Ronald C. Phillips and wife Debra; Brothers: Lee Phillips and wife Rosetta and Josh Phillips and wife Brandy; Mother-in-law Catherine Lawson, Special Friend: Savannah Kidd; Special Caretakers: Melicia Bowling, Debbie and Tammy Lawson; and many other numerous relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Services to begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Rev. Rick Slaven and Rev. Jamie Byrd officiating. Music to be provided by Jamie and Toni Byrd. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Rose Gardens in the Paint Rock Community.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
