Tammy L. Berger, 55, of Hughesville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 27, 2025 at her home. Surviving is her loving and devoted husband of 15 years, Eric L. Berger.
Born January 17, 1970, in Muncy, she was a daughter of Joseph Trimble of Pennsdale and her late mother Beverly (Barrows) Trimble.
Tammy worked at the former Janice Kaye's as a cook for many years. Tammy's passions extended beyond the kitchen to the stables and her home. She had an extraordinary love for her horses, Dreamer and Tricks, who were not just pets but members of her family. Her dogs, Chevy, L.B., and Austy, also held special places in her heart. Tammy's love for animals was a reflection of her overall loving nature and her ability to form deep and lasting connections with all living creatures.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father are two daughters, Natasha M. Brennan (Andrew) of Montoursville and Anne M. Englehart (Joe) of Osceola; three sons, Jeremy of Wilkes-Barre, Jessie of Lancaster, and Joshua Berger of Allentown; six grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Trimble of Muncy and B.J. Trimble of North Carolina; and a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 1 at the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tammy's name to a horse rescue charity of donor's choice.
Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com.
