Tamara Maxine Briley, 66, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, December 29, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with the memorial service at 6:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch.

Tammy was born on July 31, 1959 in Oxford, MS to Syble and Charles Barry. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Olive Branch. A hospice nurse and caregiver, Tammy devoted her career to empowering patients through life's challenges. Her personal life reflected the same dedication, showering her granddaughter with the same love and care she would her own child, becoming the steadfast rock for all those in need and leaving a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift others.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Augustus "AJ" Briley; mother, Syble Augusta Barry of Olive Branch; father, Charles Johnston Barry of Olive Branch; granddaughter, Skylar Marie Shaffer; son-in-law, Lester "Bud" John Shaffer, Williston, ND; sister, Margie Raines (Hippy) and nephew, Charlie Raines, both of Olive Branch.

Tammy was predeceased by her daughter, Katy Belle Briley, and nephews, Justin and Bobby Gadd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tammy's honor to The Salvation Army Angel Tree Campaign.

Online condolences can be left on her tribute wall at www.colemanfuneralhomeob.com.

Tammy was a one of a kind hospice nurse and my father was fortunate enough to have her amazing care for 13 months. We enjoyed so many late night chick fil a milkshake shakes and chicken sandwiches with Tammy on her night shifts while visiting my dad. She will be dearly missed by our entire family! Rest In Peace sweet Tammy and prayers for your family!
