Tammy Karen Cagle Dupree, 60, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, just one day before her 61st birthday. Tammy passed away at home with her loving husband, Bruce, of 33 years by her side.
Born October 20, 1963, to the late John Chason and Helen Miller Cagle Jr. in Randolph County. Tammy was a CNA for many years and worked at various nursing facilities in Moore County; her most recent was Peak Resources – Pinelake in Carthage. She enjoyed trips to the beach and camping, but mostly, she loved animals, especially her "babies": Sassy, Cesar, and Pepper.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Dupree; brother Donnie & Sheila Cagle of Ether; sister, Teresa & Orville Teague of Seagrove; brother, Jeff Cagle of Biscoe; and sister, Pauline Cagle of Sneads Ferry.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery; 2180 Carthage Road, West End. Dr. Ronnie Chaney will be officiating. A time of fellowship with refreshments will follow in the church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made, in Tammy's name, to the FirstHealth Hospice Foundation.
