Tammy EDGAR Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Legacy Funeral Home on Jan. 6, 2026.
Tammy Renee Edgar (formerly Tammy Renee Bandy (former spouse, Anthony Everett Bandy)), was born on September 11, 1962, in Colorado Springs, CO. She passed away at her home on December 24, 2025, of natural causes.

She was preceded in passing by: her father, Stanley Robert Edgar, and her son, Tyler Anthony Bandy; she is survived by: her mother, Janice Edgar, her daughter, Tanae Johnson (Beau Johnson), her sisters, Teresa Christensen (Jon Christensen), and Tanya Ivie (Tom Ivie), five grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends.

She had attended Ranum High School and Pema Medical Institute for her education and was mostly known for working as a Stay-at-Home–Mom and daycare worker. She loved crafts, hiking, and spending time in the mountains. Tammy also loved gardening and her chickens when she lived in Hugo, Colorado. And she loved her dogs, Tinkerbell & Tessie, who went before her and met her at the rainbow bridge; and her dog Tucker will have a wonderful new life with her niece and her nephew-in-law Zoya & Derek.

A Celebration of her Life is being planned for this Spring, 2026, and it's planned to be held somewhere in Denver.

She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend, and person and will be dearly missed by those whose lives she blessed.

Until we meet again.
