Tammy Kayle Hodge, age 73, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.
Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Slusher and Joyce Winiger Slusher.
Tammy was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She was colorful, loving, caring, and joyful, always bringing her own unique sense of fun to every moment. A talented artist, she expressed herself through her drawings and creativity. Tammy also had a gift for making others feel seen and loved, and her presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alton Slusher.
She is survived by her children, Derek Hodge and wife Tammy, Guy Hodge and wife Wendy, Angela McFarland and husband Mark, Tony Martin and wife Anita, Dustin Martin and wife Rachell, and Tommy Hill and wife Wendy; grandchildren, Autumn Feltner, Summer Hodge, Trevor Nelson, Madison Martin, Dennis Perry, Destiny Perry, Paxton Battering, Dalton Terry, Dillion Terry, Jordan Hodge, Zachary Hodge, Isaiah Hodge, Avery Martin, Matt McFarland, and Bronson McFarland; great grandchildren, Athena Hodge, Amaya Terry, Maren Terry, Waylon McFarland, Phoenix McFarland, Samuel McFarland, and Grayson McFarland; former husband, David Hodge; special friend, Jeff Martin; and by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12 pm until 2 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
