Tammy M. (Niemojuski) Leiterman, age 50, of Manitowoc, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.
Tammy was born May 10, 1974, in Manitowoc, to Joan Erickson and the late Ronald Niemojuski. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1992. Tammy had a very creative mind, and her favorite pastime was creating jewelry. She had drawers and drawers of organized beads to make all kinds of bracelets and necklaces. Tammy was spending all of her time creating jewelry in hopes of having her own booth at the Farmer's Market. Tammy also enjoyed making resin castings, listening to music, and was an avid online gamer. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and was just an overall fun person to be around.
Tammy is survived by her mother: Joan Erickson; son: Malachi Schreiber (Jessica); daughter: Madysin Leiterman; four sisters: Lisa Weber (Jesse), Stacy (Kory) Shillcox, Michelle (Ben) Cherney, Ashlee (Mark) Vanden Hoogen; step-dad: Robert (Annette) Rocque; and best friend: Alan LeCaptain. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her father: Ronald Niemojuski; her maternal grandparents: Dorothy (Oman) Swensen and Raymond Erickson; paternal grandparents: Shirley and Clarence Niemojuski; and two uncles: Clarence "Tony" Niemojuski Jr., and Daniel Niemojuski.
Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory in Manitowoc. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at a later date. Family and friends will be contacted with details.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the First Responders and the staff of the ICU at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial for the lifesaving efforts and compassionate care provided to Tammy.
