PETERSBURG – Tammy Lynn Manning, age 58, passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on December 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Tammy was born in Seattle, Washington, and was the loving daughter of Judy E. Manning and the late James L. Manning. She graduated from DeFuniak Springs High School in Florida. Throughout her life, Tammy traveled across the world with her family due to her father’s work, experiences that helped shape her warm, open, and welcoming nature.
For more than 10 years, Tammy worked in food service at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirit. She was extremely personable and straightforward, always looking out for the underdog and never hesitating to lend a hand or offer support. She had a deep love for her Florida family and cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Ty.
Tammy is survived by her partner of 22 years, Michael Rohloff, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her beloved children, Joshua, Jeremy, and Jamie Miracle; her mother, Judy E. Manning; her siblings, Corina, David, Charles, and Mark Manning; her cousin, Donna Arnold; and her mother-in-law, Lois Rohloff.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Henry’s Church, 39 Old Route 66, Averill Park. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family prior to the Mass beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tammy’s memory to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
