Tammy Lenn Paul ObituaryTammy Lenn Paul, 51, passed away on October 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and compassion. Born in Chula Vista, California, to Richard and Ruth Ann Plemons (née Shuckhart), Tammy lived life on her own terms - boldly, fully, and without apology.
Tammy was not your typical woman. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy and devoted her career to caring for others as a nurse. Her calling as both a soldier and a healer reflected her deepest values: courage, service, and heart. In Florida, she served as a Registered Nurse in Oncology, and after moving to Ohio, she continued her career at the Cleveland VA in Employee Health, where her empathy and dedication touched countless lives.
Tammy believed in living every day to the fullest. Her life mottos, "Think Positive!" and "Get Your Boots ON!!!" perfectly captured her spirit - determined, resilient, and ready for anything. She had a contagious laugh that could light up any room. Her husband, Dan, often said he'd pay a million dollars just to hear it, because her laughter truly nurtured his soul. Together, they found freedom in the simple joys - laughing, road-tripping, and jamming to music that spanned from Reggae and Classic Rock to Heavy Metal and, above all, the Eagles, her favorite band.
When Tammy said she would do something, she did it. She was reliable, giving, and deeply thoughtful. To Tammy, even the smallest act of kindness carried great meaning. If someone was struggling, she didn't just offer sympathy - she offered solutions, support, and a genuine sense of care. Through her actions, she made a difference in the lives of people all across the country.
Tammy was the beloved wife and soulmate of Daniel Paul. She was a loving aunt to Cameron Molnar, Logan Paul, and Leigha Paul, and the proud dog mom of Luna and Chopper. She also carried in her heart a deep love for her children, whom she missed dearly and always longed to reconnect with. Tammy will be remembered by her family, friends, and colleagues as a bright, brave, and beautiful soul - one who lived passionately and gave generously.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Tammy's extraordinary life on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the American Legion Post 678, 570 E. 328th St., Willowick, OH, from 4:30 – 8:00 PM. A second celebration honoring Tammy and all that she meant to those who loved her will take place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Spirits in Willoughby, 3872 Erie St., Willoughby, beginning at 12:00 PM.
