Tammy Sue Ploof, 52

Tammy Sue Ploof died September 17, 2025. She was born on September 18, 1972 in Alliance, Ohio. A resident of Okeechobee for 35 years, she enjoyed family, crocheting, Florida Gator football and wrestling.

Mrs. Ploof was preceded in death by her brothers, Duane Richards, Jr., David Lee Richards, Daniel Kaye Richards, and Paul Allen Richards; and father, Duane Richards, Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Henry Ploof; sons, Don Carter, Jr. and Justin Carter (Brontae); daughters, Kimberly Sears and Ashley Spoore (Heather); grandchildren, Bethany, Emory, Makayla, Isabella, Kylee, and Grayson; mother Janilee Richards; sisters, Lisa Seabolt (David), Rebeca Richards and Patricia Johnston; bonus daughter, Margo Baeza; dogs, Rosa, Gypsy, and Everest; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home
